Setting New Running Records! – Slowest 15+ mile runs! Yep that’s right I am setting records this year for my slowest times ever!  I just keep telling myself that I only care about getting in the miles and that the weather will be cooler and better for October! Wascally Wabbit, grilled please!

So last weekend we had to have a party to say goodbye for now to our favorite Coastie Storm Trooper.  The Coast Guard is deploying her to a different city in about a week, which was delayed a week so we had arranged a get-together last weekend… One of my good friends, and running buddies, KO, has been asking me to make rabbit for him for like two fricken years!  He has this wine called Rabbits and Spaghetti and it has historic stories about prisoners in Australia and they ate Rabbit and Spaghetti…  google it they tell the story better … Continue reading Wascally Wabbit, grilled please!

10 Miles 2020

So with the news of all races being canceled, my motivation sadly decreased too. I dropped my mileage back and then worked to 8 last weekend, most runs have been on the treadmill this past month and that doesn’t help me either. BUT yesterday in the beautiful 50 degrees and sunny weather, I got 10 miles in. Painting… brick by brick… painting….

Starting to seem like it just is never ending! But we took a week off last weekend and we only leave been painting about half a day of every two day weekend. I feel it keeps it from being too much of a chore and thus not as fun or exciting, in addition it doesn’t disrupt the whole weekend.
